If you’re a seasoned blogger, blog reader or beauty fan, you’ll have heard of Pixi. The iconic Glow Tonic has been a staple in the beauty routine of females (and males) everywhere for a couple of years now. Being the type of person I am, I’m always a bit late when it comes to trying out holy grail products, so I was so excited when I saw this in Marks & Spencer a couple of weeks ago. I’ve only ever been to the M&S in Chelmsford a handful of times and didn’t realise that they had a HUGE beauty hall upstairs – I was a kid in a sweet shop, let me tell ya. This set is a MASSIVE bargain. The products, when bought together, should cost £72, but in this gift set, you’ll get four of their top products for just £30! Honestly, this is one of the best Christmas bargains I’ve seen this year.

The Gift of Glow
The gift set contains the Makeup Melting Cleansing Cloths, Glow mud Cleanser, Rose Oil Blend and the ever faithful Glow Tonic.
Having never tried anything in the Pixi range before, this was the perfect way to test out a handful of skincare products at the same time. I’ve rounded up my thoughts below…
Size: 40 cloths
Usual Price: £10
Key Ingredients: Chamomile and Grape Seed Oil
I know wipes aren’t the best thing to remove your makeup with. They’re harsh on the skin and just seem to cause all the products on your face to move around, without actually taking anything away. While I wouldn’t use these on their own (they don’t take off anywhere near as much as I’d like), they’re great it you have a full face on and want to take off a layer before cleansing properly. They smell divine and the wipes are actually really soft, so don’t feel too abrasive, either! If I ever did feel the need to purchase makeup wipes, these would definitely be the only ones I’d consider.
Usual Price: £18
Key Ingredients: 5% Glycolic Acid and Aloe Vera
I am all over anything that has the words ‘mud’ or ‘clay’ in it. I have quite dry skin, but I also suffer with clogged pores (gross) so I’m constantly looking for something which will help take all of the excess oil and sebum out. Note that I said EXCESS – we don’t want to strip our skin of oil completely! This cleanser is dreamy. It’s fairly thick and goes quite far so you don’t need to use lots. I rub it in after I’ve removed all of my make up and done my first cleanse of the evening, and wash it off with a muslin cloth. Honestly, my face has never felt so smooth. Also, this smells great, too. Kind of reminds me of baby shampoo?
Usual Price: £18
Key Ingredients: 5% Glycolic Acid, Aloe Vera and Ginseng
Arguably the most iconic product from the Pixi range, I was interested to see how I’d feel about it. It’s constantly being raved about by the top beauty bloggers, vloggers and experts and I’ve never heard a bad review. I love this. I use this in the morning before I moisturise and after I’ve done a full cleanse. I did break out a little after the first couple of days but that soon went down and my complexion has never looked so clear. My blackheads have reduced by more than half and I don’t ever feel oily – it also doesn’t mess with my dry skin, which is great because the toner I was using previously really did. The only thing I would say is don’t get this near your eyes, it BURNS.
Usual Price: £26
Key Ingredients: Vitamin E
If you like the smell of a turkish delight, you’ll fricken love this. I don’t like eating them, but did want to lick my face a couple of times, just to see if it tasted as good as it smelt. This oil is honestly the best oil I’ve ever used. You need the tiniest bit (2-3 drops from the little pipette) and it completely hydrates my skin in a way I’ve never felt before. I only use this at night before bed under my moisturise, unless I’m in all day, and then I’ll pop it on in the morning for an extra moisture boost.
This set is incredible, and is bloody brilliant value for money. If you’re an avid Pixi fan, it’s a great way to stock up on some staple items and if you’re new to the brand, what better way to test them out? By buying the set, you’re making a saving of £42, which is huge, especially this near to Christmas. Treat yo’self!
What’s your favourite Pixi product and why? I’m interested, I think they might be one of my new favourite brands!
